For instant and effective results, a dermal filler will help enhance the features of the face, smoothing your skin and restoring the natural you. This soft tissue filler can subtly create a beautiful result

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are used to plump up tissue volume loss, and soften and contour lines, folds, and wrinkles.

Where are Dermal Fillers used?

Dermal fillers are commonly used in the Nasolabial lines, Checks, Jawlines, and Marionettes.
Nasolabial lines are the skin folds that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These are also known as your ‘smile’ or ‘laugh’ lines.
Marionette lines are the creases that run from the corner of the mouth towards the chin, creating a ‘downturned’ smile.

What is the gel/filler?

‘Filler’ is a common word used for the product that we inject into the lips and other areas of the face. It is Hyaluronic Acid ( HA) which is a polysaccharide glycosaminoglycan and is found in almost every living cell. HA plays a pivotal role naturally in skin rejuvenation and laxity and works alongside collagen and elastin. When used in aesthetic treatments, HA draws water to the surface which helps create a fuller and more natural appearance.

Is the treatment/procedure painful?

Dermal fillers should not be painful. We use a topical anesthetic cream on the area prior to any administration of dermal filler. The filler used will also have an anesthetic within it too. A cannula will sometimes be used which is a device (similar to a needle) that deposits the product into the desired location.

When will I see the results?

Results are immediate with any dermal filler.

How long will it last?

HA is naturally broken down by the body over time and this can vary from one patient to another. Most patients can expect the ‘filler’ to last between 9-12+ months however, this is not guaranteed.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience slight tenderness, swelling, and redness following this procedure. Some patients do experience some bruising and this is variable from one patient to another.

How long does the treatment/procedure take?

45- 60 minutes
